Dolly and The Bayeux Tapestry

I took delivery of my Be More Dolly T-shirt this week, I ordered it last Wednesday and it was with me the following Tuesday. It's made of organic cotton and super soft and I'm looking forward to wearing it and taking some photos with the matching scarf. My Scrumptious Strawberry pattern features in the typography on the Dolly T-shirt - it was made from sketches of strawberry plants in the garden with bright pink fruit on a green leaf background. This pattern also features as an organic cotton scarf, note pad, A7 greetings card, and patterned mug (printed on demand via Etsy and sent directly to you).

I made this video clip to show how to tie my organic cotton scarves 1940/50s style - it's possible to stop and start the video to see the details of the process. I've also been wearing scarves bandana style, with a double knot at the back, nice and simple. 

Tickets to see the Bayeux Tapestry at The British Museum are going to be tricky to get hold of, but there is this wonderful digital version which you can explore from the comfort of your own home. It's a fascinating piece of artwork and made by anonymous English embroiderers in the 11th century. We drove over to France and saw the tapestry in Bayeux some years ago and I'd like to see it close up again, but whether we get tickets or not I'll be looking at it in more detail online.
